Skateboarders In Solidarity

As skateboarders, we are taught from the very beginning to resist authority. It is almost a right of passage into the world of skateboarding, and unfortunately- with that resistance for authority came a resistance for government and all things political as a whole. 

 The time for that to change is now & here at Rolling For Rights, we aim to bridge the gap between skateboarding and politics.

We need to come together and use our collective power to resist authority in the most effective way possible, and that is not just by voting, but by being an INFORMED VOTER. Our mission at RFR is to share information, listen, educate, and stand in solidarity with the skateboard community in San Diego to fight against racial injustice and systemic racism.
 
Being a member of the San Diego skateboard community makes you are a part of a worldwide community. Skateboarding is all inclusive & we need to use that unity to be a part of the change.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING FOR

SYSTEMIC CHANGE.

Racial Justice

We stand in solidarity with the Black community in the fight against racial injustices, systemic racism, and police brutality.

Defund SDPD & Refund Our Community

Invest in school skateboard programs & build skateparks in east, and south San Diego districts 8, 4, 3, 2, & 9. Create programs to give under privileged kids access to skateboard resources.

Decriminalize Skateboarding

San Diego Municipal Code says that the “use of skateboards, is unlawful for any person riding on skateboard”. Skateboarding is not a crime & this code makes it impossible to be a skateboarder in the city.
